- I work for a consulting company and focus on Storage and Virtualization with VMware, I am also entrepreneurial by nature.
- My wife and I have 4 dogs (“io”, Jackson, Dixie and Cheyenne) and 2 cats (Mittens and Archie).
- I founded the official Ubuntu Linux Forums in October of 2004. Since then its grown to be one of the largest Linux forums on the Internet. In June 2007 I transferred ownership to Canonical.
- I am on the Ubuntu Forums Council where I serve as the Chairman and also maintain the technical aspect of the Ubuntu Forums.
- I like to play World of Warcraft.
- I am very interested in Apple/OSX, Linux, Storage (Dell Equallogic/NetAPP), PHP, Virtualization, VMware, OpenVZ, Hiking, Running and coffee.
- I co-authorerd a book on Virtualization/VMware called VMware Cookbook for O’Reilly, which was released on 11/2/2009.
- I’ve been married since October 2003 to my lovely wife.
- I’ve trained and finished a marathon..
- In a previous life I owned a successful internet company, which employed over 10+ people and 25,000 customers.
- I’ve taught college classes on Linux, Networking and Hardware Repair.
- I understand and have experienced failure on a large scale. It made me a better person.
